REKINDLING
SHABBAT

IGNITE YOUR JEWISH SOUL

People throughout the community are
discovering just how good it feels to
experience the glow of Shabbat. In fact,
hundreds of participants attended the "Kindle
Your Candles" celebrations on November 19 and 20
to learn Shabbat basics and new ideas from
Jewish educator Dr. Ron Wolfson.

If you haven't already "rekindled Shabbat,"
it's time you rediscovered the beauty of the
celebration. Call your congregation to find out what activities are planned
and how you can get involved. If you're not affiliated with a congregation and
would like to attend services and special events, call Kari Grosinger at
the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit at (248) 642-4260, ext. 241.
