Latke Fest

EMU Hillel of HMD and Alpha
Epsilon Pi (at EMU) will host Latke
Fest '97, 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at
Roosevelt Hall on the EMU campus.
This event will feature latkes made by
faculty and alumni, the band Plum
Loco, a bake-off contest, and a stu-
dent art exhibit.
There is no charge for this event,
but participants are asked to bring a
canned good or small gift to donate to

Joint Dinner
For Sisterhoods
The sisterhoods of Adat Shalom
Synagogue and Congregation Shaarey
Zedek will hold the 10th annual joint
dinner and meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday,
Dec. 9, at Adat Shalom. Dinner will
be followed by a program titled "Spa
for the Spirit.
There is a $15 charge. Guests are

Temple Israel
Latke Lunch
The Temple Israel Sisterhood will host
a luncheon at noon Monday, Dec. 8,
at the temple. Comic Keith Ruff will
entertain.
The cost for the afternoon is $6 for
sisterhood members and $8 for guests.
Babysitting will be available by reser-
vation for $5 per child.
