Stars Of David
Chanukah Party
The Stars of David, an international
support, social and educational group
for Jewish adoptive families, partly
Jewish adoptive families, and prospec-
tive adoptive Jewish families, will hold
its annual Chanukah party, 1:30- 3:30
p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at Temple Israel.
The party will include crafts,
games, refreshments and a Little
Creatures presentation featuring live
animals. Single parents, prospective
adoptive parents, grandparents and c
other extended family members are
welcome.
There is a donation of $5 per adult
and $2.50 per child with a maximum
of $15 per family. For information or

MSU Hillel
Holiday Plans
MSU Hillel will sponsor a Jewish
Holiday Book Fair from 11 a.m. to 5
p.m. Dec. 2-4 in the Wisconsin Room
of the MSU Union.
There will be a Chanukah party 5
p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Hillel,
sponsored by the Black-Jewish
Dialogue. Free latkes and dreidles
will be available.
There will be a CJSO meeting 6:30
p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Hillel.
Professor Eli Yassif will speak at
Shabbat dinner, 6:15 p.m. Friday,
Dec. 5. $6 reservations are required.

Issues Talk
Machon L'Torah, The Jewish Learning
Network of Michigan, will hold a deli
dinner 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, in
Ann Arbor. Rabbi Avraham
Jacobovitz will lead a discussion on
"Abortion, Kevorkian, and Judaism."
There is no charge.

At Oakland University, the Jewish
Students Organization/Hillel has
office hours 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Wednesdays in room 19, Oakland
Center.
The JSO/Hillel will co-sponsor a
program about Chanukah as part of
the university's "December to
Remember" program, Thursday, Dec.
4. Presentations, samples, and infor;
mation will be available during the
day in the Fireside Lounge in
Oakland Center. In the evening,
there will be a Chanukah party. For
