The Men's Club of Adat Shalom Synagogue and the B'nai B'rith Michigan Regional Council will spon- sor a New Year's Eve Ball 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the syna- gogue. This party will include hors d'oeuvres followed by a kosher sit- down dinner and a sweet table. Party-goers will dance to the Bill Meyers Orchestra. There will be favor and prizes. Emanu-El Nursery Classes An expanded "Terrific Twos" class will be offered at Temple Emanu-El Nursery School in January. The class is for children age two to 2 1/2 years old. Both half and full-day options are available. The on-my-own class is limited to 12 children with three adult care- givers. A Parent-Toddler class will be offered weekly for children and parent (or other adult) to share a school play experience. This class is for children 18 months to 2 1/2 years. A new cooking enrichment class, along with a creative movement and aerobics class, and "Different Strokes" class featuring drama, science and woodworking will also be offered for the winter semester. The Nursery School will schedule and informational breakfast in January for Kindergarten 1998.
