Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program

Coordinator

The Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program reaches
out to meet the religious and cultural needs of frail Jew-
ish elderly isolated in sheltered care environments out-
side the community. As the Program Coordinator you
will be responsible for developing and implementing
volunteer programs and visitation to the frail Jewish el-
derly isolated in sheltered care environments in the tri-
county area. This position requires that you be actively
'involved in the Jewish community and have the abili-
ty to work with congregations, schools and commu-
nity religious organizations.

This 30-hour per week position offers flexible hours. Ed-
ucational training specific toJewish communal service
is required and experience developing and coordinat-
ing volunteer programs a must. Experience required
working with the frail elderly and adults who are men-
tally and physically impaired. You must possess strong
organizational and administrative skills and be computer
literate.
