WHAT IS A CHINESE AUCTION?

A Chinese Auction is an inexpensive way to have a fun-filled
evening where you have the chance to take home valuable
prizes for a minimal cash outlay.

How DOES A CHINESE AUCTION WORK?

Akiva
Hebrew Day School
presents

At a Chinese Auction you purchase tickets in denominations of
$10, $20, $35, $50, $75 or $100. You then place these tickets,
with your name on them, in the box corresponding to your
desired gift. For example, if you would like the chance to win a
computer system, you purchase a $75 ticket, write your name
on it and place it in Box #3.

How MANY TICKETS CAN I PUT IN A
PARTICULAR Box?

There is no limit to the number of tickets one may place in any
one box. Therefore, if you want to increase your chances of
winning a prize, you may place more than one ticket in that box.

How MANY TICKETS MUST BE SOLD FOR
ANY PRIZE To BE WON?

With the exception of the $100 raffle ticket table, as long as
ONE ticket is sold for a particular item, that merchandise will
be taken home by a lucky winner at the end of the evening.

ALL PRIZES ARE DRAWN SEPARATELY!

Akiva Hebrew Day School reserves the rights to withdraw any
item or substitute any item prior to the evening of the auction.
