THREEBirkat HaMishpacha (Family Blessing)

•

HERE'S HOW:

It is traditional for the parent or parents to place both hands upon the
child's head or to hug him/her while reciting the blessing. This offers a
special time for closeness between parent and child.

Every family has a different Shabbat experience.
One wonderful custom is the blessing of the chil-
dren. This can be done before saying the Kiddush.
