Scholar In Residence Program

Welcomes Back

Rabbi Stone, the 1997 Scholar In Residence, re-
turns to our community for two special week-
ends. A graduate of the Jewish Theological
Seminary, he is rabbi ofTemple Beth Zion - Beth
Israel in Philadelphia. Rabbi Stone has written
extensively on theology and rabbinics as well as
poetry and is the author of Seeking the Path to Life.
His newest work, Reading Levinas/Reading Tal-
mucI soon to be released by JPS, explores a con-
temporary approach to Talmud study. Rabbi
Stone is also currently serving as a Visiting Lec-
turer at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
