FUTURE AGING SERVICES 'The Club' in the Plaza is an adult day program which offers recreation, socialization and mental stimulation. The goal of 'The Club' is to promote independence and wellness for older persons still living at home. It also provides a respite for care-giving relatives. The Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program coordinates and provides pastoral care and religious services to the frail older Jewish adults who live in isolated non- Jewish sheltered care facilities. The J.H.A.S. Guardianship Program acts as legal representative and advocate, providing community support for the Jewish older adults who are isolated, neglected, or incapacitated. This program speaks for the client making critical life decisions on his or her behalf. Community Liaison Service provides religious, cultural and spiritual support for Jewish care at Menorah House, Marvin and Betty Danto Family Health Care Center and Elan Village. a FLEISCHMAN RESIDPNCE/ .BLVIMERG PLAZA a licensed home for aged, provides an ideal home atmosphere for our Jewish elderly with readily available support services for assistance in living. The institute was founded to give value and meaning to the older adult members of our community and those who care for them. SUPPO.RT SERVICES The Auxiliary for Jewish Aged has forged an alliance with over 1500 dedicated members whose mission is to render services primarily to the residents of the Jewish Home and Aging Services and other facilities in the alliance and to promote public awareness of the Jewish elderly community The Benefactors of the Jewish Home and Aging Services serve as an important link between the "Home" and the local community to promote and advance services provided to our elderly. Members are provided with opportunities to network, enjoy social activities, become active with the community and the board, and produce financial support and assistance to the expanding services the "Home" offers. The Volunteer Corps is a group of men, women and young adults who provide direct services to our Jewish elderly. Dedicated individuals provide support to the Edward I. and Freda Fleischman Residence / Blumberg Plaza, Marvin and Betty Danto Facility Health Care Center and the Menorah House as well as reaching out to Jewish elderly who might be isolated from the community.
