ROBERT BENJAMIN HIRSCH, 66,
formerly of Southfield of Las Vegas,
Nev., died Oct. 20. Mr. Hirsch was in
the floor covering business, running M
R Floor Coverings on Grand River
in Detroit.
He is survived by his loving wife,
Arlene; son, Joel Hirsch of Los Angeles;
daughter, Carole of West Palm Beach,
Fla.; mother, Olga Hirsch of West Palm
Beach; sons and daughters-in-law,
Daniel and Lisa Cohen of Farmington
Hills, Ronald and Lori Cohen of
Phoenix, Ariz., Sanford and Terry
Cohen of Prescott, Ariz; grandchildren,
Jordan, Dylan, Allie and Michelle of
Arizona. Interment in San Diego at El
Camino Cemetery.

JEAN KABER, 90, of Oak Park, died
Nov. 2.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Marty and Esther
Kaber of Delray Beach, Fla.; daughter,
Elaine Dvorkin of Oak Park; grandchil-
dren, Arnie and Marlene Kaber of
Dallas, Texas, Debi and Larry Kaplan,
Amy and Randy Silverman, Kim and
Marlon Sundheimer, all of Farmington
Hills; great-grandchildren, Carly and
Stacy Kaber, Justin and Kyley Kaplan,
Ashley, Evan and Harrison Silverman,
Brandon and Brittany Sundheimer,

grandchild, Jenna. She was the beloved
wife of the late Hyman Kaber; dear
mother-in-law of the late David

Herbert and Meyer Moritz.

PAULINE KLEINMAN, 94, of West
Bloomfield, died Oct. 31.
Mrs. Kleinman is survived by her
grandchildren, Laura and Michael Kay;
great-grandchildren, Zachary, Daniel,
Samuel, Lindsay and Alexander. She
was the beloved wife of the late David
Kleinman and the dear mother of the
late Marcia Last.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

AARON "IKE" KRASNER, 82, of
Detroit, died Oct. 27. Mr. Krasner
coached basketball at the St. Louis
Council House following his graduation
from Solodan High School in 1933. He
received his bachelor's degree from the

George Warren Brown School of Social
Work at Washington University in St.
Louis in 1946 and his master's degree
from that school in 1950. Mr. Krasner
taught social group work classes at the
Wayne School of Social Work in 1951
and was a Fulbright professor from
1958-59 in the Netherlands. Mr.
Krasner was a professor emeritus of
social work at Wayne State University.
He was a documentary filmmaker
whose films included Spring Offensive
71, documenting a march in
Washington, D.C., to protest the
Vietnam War and Powerful Path, docu-
menting a cross-country peace march
from California to Washington, D.C.
Mr. Krasner is survived by his wife,
Fay; daughter and son-in-law, Beryl and u
David Bradley; brothers and sisters-in-
law, William and Thelma, Louis and
Pauline, Simon and Helen.
Burial will be private; there will be a
memorial service held in November.

MARSHALL LAHR, 61, of Southfield,
died Oct. 31.
He is survived by his brother and sis-

Southfield.
Interment at Hebrew Memorial

EVELYN E. LEFF, 72, of West
Bloomfield, died Oct. 29.
Mrs. Leff is survived by her sister,
Louise Rotenberg of Adventura, Fla.;
sisters-in-law, Isabel Kaufman, Marge
Holbrook. She was the beloved wife of
the late Irving Leff and the dear sister-
in-law of the late Manuel Rotenberg
and the late Benjamin Kaufman.
