Games Night
At Adat Shalom

Adat Shalom Synagogue's Mens's Club
and CHaZaKaH seniors will co-spon-
sor a Gala Games Night, 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the synagogue.
Kosher turkeys and a variety of other
prizes will be awarded to the lucky
winners.
Cost to attend is $3 per person or
$5 per family. The community is wel-
come. Reservations are not required.

Wall: Separation of Church & State in

cussion of current church-state issues,

Learning Series
Explores Values

Tom Wexelberg-Clouser, regional
director for the Bloomfield Hills-based
Jewish Theological Seminary Midwest
Regional Office, will continue his four-
part Eilu v' Eilu adult Jewish learning
series, "The Idea of 'Judeo-Christian:
Myth or Reality?" on the next two
Wednesday nights, November 12 and
19, at Hillel Day School, 32200
Middlebelt Road, Farmington Hills.
The series explores the fundamental
differences between Christian and
Jewish religious values and questions
whether there really is such a thing as
"Judeo-Christian values". The
November 12 session will run from 8-
9:30 p.m. The November 19 session
will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. All adult
learners are welcome. It is not neces-
sary to have attended the previous two
sessions in the series. Tuition is $10
per session ($8 for members of the

organizations which underwrite Eilu v'
Eilu).

A German literature scholar,
Schindler will discuss "Holocaust
Survivor Authors and Holocaust
Education in Germany Today."
