Series Eilu Eilu, the joint adult Jewish learning project sponsored by Congregations Beth Abraham Hillel Moses, Beth Shalom, and B'nai Moshe, Hillel Day School, and the Women's League for Conservative Judaism-Michigan Branch, will spon- sor a Rosh Chodesh adult Jewish Study Series for the new year, with monthly Sunday night sessions hosted by Borders Books & Music, 30995 Orchard Lake Road, Farmington Hills. The series is keyed to the Jewish calendar, with each session welcoming a new month. The. first session will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2. Community educator Ruth Bergman will lead the shiur (study session). The next session will be held on Sunday night, Dec. 7. Aviva Silverman will discuss "The Chanukah Songs We Sing: What Do They Really Mean?" The series is free and open to all interested adult learners. Advance reg- istration is not required, and no knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. Bereavement Support Group Congregation B'nai Moshe will offer an eight-week Bereavement Support Group, 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Oct. 29-Dec. 17. The group will be conducted by Robert Hack, a psychotherapist specializing in bereavement issues. The bereave- ment group is offered free of charge to any members of the Jewish com- munity.
