erhaps you're a fan of Kton
Kton, the little boy who got
into so much mischief in
Sadie Rose Weilerstein's popular
books of the 1940s.
Or maybe Anne Frank is your
hero, her diary the most compelling
work you've ever read.
As we celebrate Jewish Book
Month in November, we want to
hear about your favorite book with
a Jewish theme.
Please tell us all about your
favorite Jewish book, and a little bit
about yourself, too (your name,
age, school, hobbies and anything
else you think we should know).
Send it to us no later than Friday,

f you're between the ages of 4
and 14 and you like to draw,
The AppleTree is looking for you!
We need five artists to test out
some crayons on the market. We'll
send the crayons; all you have to

do is color away, then report on
which of the products you like best.
If you're interested in participat-
ing, be one of the first five callers to
354-6060 ext. 257 before 9 a.m.
Nov. 3. Leave your name and
phone number.
If we're able to use your services,
we'll call you back. If you don't
hear from us it means you weren't
one of the first five, but we hope
you'll be on the lookout for future
reader surveys in The AppleTree.

Note: If you have participated
in a previous AppleTree read-
ers' survey, please do not call.
