Bloomfield, died Oct. 24.
He is survived by his daughter and

and Kevin.

SIMON BERMANN, 77, of
Farmington Hills, died Oct. 21.

Medical miracles
start with research

AUDREY T. BOSEMAN, 67, of Ann
Arbor, died Oct. 20. She graduated
from Chelsea High School and earned
a bachelor's degree in business at what
is now Eastern Michigan University.
She joined the business office of the
Institute of Social Research at the
University of Michigan in 1953 and
became its business manager in 1971.
Ms. Boseman was a founding member
and served on the board of the Ann
Arbor Black Theater. She also was on
the boards of the YMCA, Planned
Parenthood, the U-M Credit Union
and the Advisory Committee to the
Ann Arbor Public Library. In addition,
she served as president of the Board of
Soundings and was a member of the
fund-raising committee while on the
board of the U-M Museum of Art.
Ms. Boseman is survived by her
friend, Jerry Schafer; brothers and sis-
ter-in-law, Edwin Taylor of Ann Arbor,
Robert H. and Sharon Taylor of
Gainsville, Va.
Interment at Arborcrest Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed to the
University of Michigan Museum of
Art and the Ann Arbor Community
Center. Arrangements by the Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

died Oct. 28.

He is survived by his son and

Ferndale followed by interment in the

ANNIE BASCHIN FAIGENBAUM,
former Detroiter of San Francisco,
died Oct. 20. Mrs. Faigenbaum gradu-
ated from Wayne State University. She
was a member of the National Council
of Jewish Women and was instrumen-
tal in founding Operation Friendship,
which set up day care for mentally dis-
turbed children and adults. She was a
member of the California Crafts
Museum Board of Directors.
She is survived by her children,
Steve, Debbie and Mark; sister, Jean
Levy. She was the loving sister of the
late Leah Koven.
Contributions may be made to the
National Council of Jewish Women.

JOYCE FEALK, 41, of Madison
Heights, died Oct. 26. Ms. Fealk was
an office manager for a truck broker-
age firm.
