Organization will hold its annual Fall
Conclave at Camp Mans, Ortonville,
Mich., from Friday, Oct. 31 through
Sunday, Nov. 2. The theme of the
weekend is "Together we can make a
difference." Samantha Rollinger of
Achayot BBG and Dan Freeman of
Kishon AZA are the chairs of the con-
clave.
BBYO is seeking adults interested in
volunteering to work as advisers with

Gives Talk

Alan Dershowitz, professor of the
Harvard Law School and author, will
discuss his vision for the American

HMC Hosts
Dr. Weiss

The Holocaust Memorial Center will
'sponsor a lecture by Dr. John Weiss 7
p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Janice
Charach Epstein Museum/Gallery in
the Maple-Drake Jewish Community
Center. Dr. Weiss will speak on his
recently published book Ideology of
Death: Why the Holocaust Happened in
Germany.
Dr. Weiss is a professor of history at
Lehman College and the Graduate
Center of the City University of New
York. He taught at Wayne State
University from 1957 to 1968 and is a
former Fulbright scholar.
Dr. Guy Stern, distinguished profes-
sor of German and Slavic Studies at
Wayne State University, will offer his
comments after Weiss' talk and an
audience discussion will follow.
The public is invited and no reser-
vations are necessary.
