Sunday, Oct. 26

The University of Michigan Museum
of Art and the Kelsey Museum of
Archaelogy host a family day in
conjunction with the exhibit,
"Sepphoris in Galilee: Crosscurrents
Dof Culture." The program, focusing
on archaelogical excavations from
Zippori in northern Israel, will fea-
ture child-friendly tours and hands-
on activities such as lamp and
mosaic making. There is no admis-
sion charge.
The "Sepphoris in Galilee" exhibit
`j runsthrough Dec. 14. The Kelsey
Museum is at 434 S. State Street,
and the U-M Museum of Art is at
525 S. State Street in Ann Arbor.
Both museums are open 10 a.m.-5
p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; 10
a.m.-9 p.m. Thursdays; and noon-5
p.m. Sundays.

Sunday, Oct. 29 through
Friday, Oct. 31
The Renaissance Center will host its
annual Psychic Fair, proceeds from
which will benefit the Detroit Institute
for Children, an organization that
provides diagnostic and treatment
c services for youth with developmen-
tal disabilities.
The fair will feature numerologists
and tea-leaf readers, among others,
who will perform readings from 10
a.m.-2 p.m. in the inner circle of
the RenCen. For information, call

Wednesday, Nov. 5 and 12
Thursday, Nov. 6, 13 or 20

William Beaumont Hospital offers
courses on infant/child CPR from
6:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesday class-
es will be held in classrooms J and
K at Beaumont Hospital, 44201
Dequindre in Troy. Thursday classes
will be in classrooms C and D at
the hospital's Rehabilitation and
Health Center, 746 Purdy in
Birmingham. The cost is $20, and
registration is required. Call 1-800-
633-7377 to register. Following
successful completion of the course,
participants will be certified by the
American Heart Association.
