Harbor Springs, died Oct. 14. Mrs.
Jaffe was a volunteer artist for the
Harbor Springs Schools Mentoring
Program, a lifetime member of
Hadassah, a member of Women's
American ORT, past board member of
the Jewish Community Center, a past
president of the Women's Division of
the United Community Services and a
board member of the Women's
Division of Federation. She also was a
Jewish Vocational Services board
member, commissioner for 'Art in the
Station," an art work for the People
Mover, and a past board member of
the Southeastern Michigan Red Cross.
Mrs. Jaffe is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, David Jaffe and
Erica Peresman of Luxembourg;
daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Jaffe
and Paul Horowitz of N.J.; grandchil-
dren, Adella and Mara Jaffe, Ze'ev and
Max Horowitz; sisters, Roslyn
Mendelson of Ontario, Audrey Ellison
of New York; sister-in-law, Irene
Siegel. She was the beloved wife of the
late Miles Jaffe and the loving sister of
the late Raymond Bigman and the
dear sister-in-law of the late Murray
Mendelson.
