In small mixer bowl combine flour, 1
1/2 teaspoons sugar, baking powder
and salt. Add all remaining ingredi-
ents except 1 teaspoon butter.
Beat at medium speed, scraping
bowl often, until smooth (1 to 2
minutes).
Melt 1 teaspoon butter in 6 or 8
inch skillet until sizzling. For each of
6 crepes, pour about 1/4 cup batter
into skillet; immediately rotate skillet --
until thin film covers bottom. Cook
over medium heat until lightly
browned (2 to 3 minutes). Run wide
spatula around edge to loosen; turn.
Continue cooking until lightly
browned (2 to 3 minutes). Place
crepes on plate, placing waxed paper
between each. Cover crepes; set aside.
In 10-inch skillet melt 1/4 cup
butter over medium heat; stir in 1/4
cup sugar, brown sugar and corn-
starch. Stir in all remaining sauce
ingredients. Cook over medium heat, j
stirring occasionally, until sauce
begins to thicken (5 to 6 minutes).
Meanwhile, fold each crepe in
half; fold in half again to form trian-
gles. When sauce begins to thicken
arrange crepes in skillet. Cook,
spooning sauce over crepes occasion-
ally, until crepes are heated through
(3 to 4 minutes). Serve warm crepes
with sauce.
CHOCO-PEANUT BUTTER ICE
CREAM PIE
Crust:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons chopped salted
peanuts
1/4 cup butter, melted
Filling
2 cups chocolate ice cream,
softened slightly
4 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
slightly
1/3 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons chopped salted
peanuts
Chocolate-flavored syrup
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small
bowl stir together all crust ingredi-
ents. Press on bottom and up sides ot --
9 inch or 10 inch pie pan.
Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until
lightly browned. Cool completely.
Spread softened chocolate ice
cream over bottom of cooled pie
crust. Freeze until firm (about 30
minutes).
