hosts a Yiddishkeit party to ring in their 50th.

t was a to-hell-with-cholesterol
feast, a celebration of love, food
and good friends.
Marylin and Zeke Wohlman
tried unsuccessfully to find some kind
of Jewish banquet hall to host their
50th wedding anniversary party before
deciding to hold a Yiddishkeit
blowout at the Stage & Co. deli in

West Bloomfield.
From the invitations to the center-
pieces to the placemats to the exten-
sive menu, the party kept to a theme
that harkened back to the Wohlmans'
childhoods, when people celebrated
happy occasions by stuffing them-
selves silly and dressing to the nines. O
The invitations noted the enter-
tainment — tantzen (dancing), essen
(eating) and fi-essen (overeating) —
and suggested that guests get zayer
