Preschool Program Grows C Child Development at the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Center of Metropolitan Detroit has added transition classrooms to its existing preschool program at both West Bloomfield and Oak Park loca- tions to accommodate a limited num- ber of children in the infant/toddler (children from 2 months to 2 1/2 years) and transition (children from 2 1/2 years to potty-trained) classrooms. Highlights of these programs include: Judaic/readiness curriculum, swimming and kosher lunches/snacks. Parents have the option of half-day (a.m. only), half-day with lunch or full day (7 a.m.- 6 p.m.) programming (a minimum of two days are required). A 10 percent sibling discount also is available.
