Elgrably, 39, the Los Angeles-born son of a French-Moroccan Jewish emigre father and a Lithuanian- descended Jewish mother, spent 10 years as a freelance journalist in Europe. He lives in Los Angeles again a is editor of Nasawi News, a quarte ./,k English-language Sephardic publica- tion whose first issue was distribute last month at Jewish community ce n ters, synagogues and Jewish stores nationwide. The newspaper's Arabic-sounding name is an acronym for the Nation Association of Sephardic Artists, Writers & Intellectuals, a L.A.-based cultural organization.
