The Tnuatron Dance Theater of Israel returns to this year's
Mid East/West fest with the goal of sharing their lives
through the emotional translation of dance. The
performance is a benefit for the Barbara Ann Karmanos
Caner Institute. Proceeds support the Institute's Hazards
of Tobacco (1-1.0.T.sm) program, which uses smoking-related
cancer survivors to deliver the message of tobacco
prevention firsthand. The program reached more than
20,000 Detroit-area students in 1996.
