ble the tapas of Spain or Chinese dim
sum .. In Lebanon, it isn't unusual to

Recently, 50 years later, Iry and
Olga Dworkin celebrated their golden
anniversary at the home of their
daughter and son-in-law, Deb and
Rich Partridge.
The gent responsible for them
meeting each other, Larry Schwartz,
who had the band in which Iry played
trumpet at a Wayne shindig where
they met, was best man at their wed-
ding ... and came in from Seattle for
Iry and Olga's 50th.
Barbara Whiting Smith, sister of
songster Margaret Whiting and
daughter of songwriter Richard
Whiting, sang at our fun table with
Val Corrati, Dorothy and Jerry
Timmis, Charlie Blauer and Lucille
and Wayne Scott.
Forty-eight guests toasted a happy
Iry and Olga Dworkin .. still very
much in love with each other.
