the gleeful crowd dancing and having
fun with Vernor's cream ales and
Sander's hot fudge sundaes.
Memories run rampant at the
photo display, which continues in the
JCC lobby through October ... No
charge.
HANDLERS OF food at
Vineyards Cafe on Northwestern
Highway, between Middlebelt and 14
Mile, have a three-part program for
cleanliness maintenance ... They must
wash their hands ... then put them
under sanitizers to kill any remaining
germs ... and it is a requisite that they
wear protective gloves similar to those
worn by surgeons.
These sanitation measures are
required ... not requested ... in the
Vineyards' kitchen, behind-the-
counter food handling and Shirlee
Bloom's separate kitchen.
MANY OF THE near 100 folks
celebrating Max Sosin's 87th birthday
gathered around the electric keyboard
of Marlene Nessel to sing oldies they
hadn't heard in years.
The folks were enjoying themselves
... which is what Max has always lived
for ... to see others having fun ... The
party was given by his daughter Sally
and son-in-law Dr. Phil Newman at
5000 Town Center.
