Bloomfield, died Sept. 28. Mr. Reder
was an insurance underwriter.

Diem of Farmington Hills; grandchil-

Detroiter of Los Angeles, died Sept.
25. He was an architectural engineer
and served as a lieutenant in the Navy
construction battalion (Seabees) dur-
ing World War II. He built homes in
Detroit and a high rise in Denver.
He is survived by his wife,
Marjorie; children, Ronald (Bette),
Judith and Barry; grandchildren, Lisa,
Jodi, Jennifer, Eric, Nathan and Ariel;

SOPHIE S. STEINBERGER, 91, of -Z\
Troy, died Sept. 29. For 40 years, Mrs.
Steinberger was a teacher for the
Detroit Public Schools. She was a 10-
year volunteer at the Detroit
Historical Society, a five-year teaching I\
volunteer at Wayne Memorial High
School, volunteer teacher at Temple
Israel and a member of many organi-
zations and societies.
Mrs. Steinberger is survived by her
