The JCC Has
Travel Plans

The Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit will host the
following travel opportunities.
A Jewish heritage trip to New York
City will take place Dec. 25 - 29. Go
to Miami Beach, Jan. 6 - 20 (two
weeks) or Jan. 6 -'27 (three weeks).
Informational meetings will be
held 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, at
Maple-Drake, and 11 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 15, at JPM.
Travel to Scottsdale and Palm
Springs, Feb. 3 - 24. Informational
meetings will be held 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Maple-
Drake.
San Diego and Santa Monica will
be visited Feb. 10 - 26. Informational
meetings will be held 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 15, at JPM and 10
a.m. Wed., Oct. 22, at Maple -
Drake.
For a 10-night cruise on Royal
Caribbean's Splendour of the Seas on
Feb. 4-14, attend an informational
meeting 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at
Maple-Drake.
A Hawaiian Panorama is set for
March 16 - 29. An informational
meeting will be held 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. at
Maple - Drake.
The Australia and New Zealand
informational meeting will be held 7
p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, at Maple-
Drake.

Publicity
Deadlines

The normal deadline for local news
and publicity items is noon
Thursday, eight days prior to issue
date. The deadline for out-of-town
obituaries is 10 a.m. Tuesday, three
days prior to issue date.

All material must be typewritten,
double-spaced, on 81/2 x 11 paper
and include the name and daytime
telephone number of sender.
