re-election campaign of Massachusetts
Sen. John McGlory (Jay 0. Sanders).

Jason Flemyng (a Cannes Film
Festival Best Young European Actor)
and Tony-nominee Antony Sher star
in this lively romance between unlike-
ly lovers. The mismatched pair stum-
ble along the rocky path of commit-
ment in a sometimes poignant, often
hilarious, always believable portrayal
of gay courtship in London.
Tonio (Flemyng) is a narcissistic
dancer pushing his body to artistic
perfection. By contrast, Jack (Sher) is
a therapist whose mind is more agile
than his body.
Is there room for two prima donnas
in a bed? This is an odd couple that
oddly fit and for Tonio and Jack, spar-
ring and laughing all the way, love
may, indeed, conquer all. Rated R.

KISS THE GIRLS

You'll scream rather than cry in this
psychological thriller starring Morgan
Freeman and Ashley Judd. The tale of
a depraved serial "collector" who adds
Freeman's niece to his stash of kid-
napped beauties, Kiss the Girls shares
genre with The Silence of the Lambs
and Seven, but, not to worry, the hero
doesn't end up with a head in a box.
Judd took a kickboxing class to pre-
pare for her role as escapee turned
hunter, and developed a taste for her
action-heroine maneuvers. She and
Freeman make a daunting team. Rated
R.

Janeane Garofalo stars in the Mark Joffe
film The Matchmaker.

Irish, Marcy just might complete her
task, re-establish her integrity, and
most important, maintain her sense of
humor. Rated R.

Superior is a mad little town in
Arizona and Bobby Cooper (Sean
Penn) is the hard-luck small time
gambler who limps into the town's
single gas station, a busted radiator
thrusting him into the edge of
