Rosh Chodesh
Gathering

Neshei Rosh Chodesh will host a
gathering, 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, to
celebrate Rosh Chodesh Tishrei and to
commemorate the yahrtzeit of
Rebbetzin Chana, mother of the
Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the home of c -/

Yaffie Rabin, rebbetzin of the
Huntington Woods Minyan, will
speak on "The Power of Women's
Prayers." Bassie Shemtov will demon-
strate the art of creating fruit and veg-

Kiddush Marks
New Eruv

The Huntington Woods Minyan will
have an inaugural Kiddush 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 27, in honor of the
completion of the eruv, which will
give Huntington Woods access on
Shabbat to the other surrounding
communities. The kiddush will be
sponsored by Eugene and Julie
Sherizen in the basement of the City
Hall (11 Mile and Scotia).
