Margie Krasnick, Bluma Schechter Students Complete Project Join Fifteen metropolitan Detroit area col- lege students recently completed eight-week internships through the Jeanette & Oscar Cook Jewish Occupational Intern (JOIN) program. The interns learned first-hand what a career in Jewish communal service could offer while gaining valuable work experience. They were matched with nonprofit organizations and worked in the areas of business dministration, communications and public affairs, research and planning, human services and recreation.
