Herzliya-based Scitex and Komori, which manufactures offset and print- ing machines, are focusing on the interfacing of their systems. In a statement, Scitex President and - CEO Yoav Chelouch said that "Komori is a natural partner for Scitex." Komori's presses are ideal complements to Scite.x's pre-press products, he said. New Apartment Sales Are Up Jerusalem (JPFS) — The second quar- ter saw a 5 percent increase in the number of new apartments sold in the big cities, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported. During the April-June period, 3,830 new apartments were sold in the 24 major cities, in comparison with 3,630 in the first quarter and 3,770 in the same period last year. The rise was attributed primarily to sale of flats in advanced building stage, about 33 percent of the total supply of new apartments, while the number of finished and start apartments declined.
