Joshua Louis Edwards will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday, Sept. 27, at
Temple Shir Shalom. Rabbis

Josh is the son of Ann and
Richard Edwards and brother of
Joseph and Daniel. Proud bubbie
is Bessie Weintrob. Josh is the
grandson of the late Ben Weintrob
and the late Minnie and Joe
Edwards.
Josh is a seventh-grade student at
West Hills Middle School, where
his favorite subject is math. As part
of his bar mitzvah project, he vol-
unteered at Lone Pine Elementary.
Josh enjoys soccer, tennis and bas-
ketball and is a sports statistician.
A party will be held at the
Franklin Club. Josh and his family
will travel to Israel this year for his
bar mitzvah ceremony on
Masada.
