Softball Wins

Temple Shir Shalom defeated Temple
Israel 16-9 to win the
Intercongregational Softball League
championship on Sept. 7.
The win avenged Shir Shalom's only (-
loss of the season. Both teams finished
the season with a 4-1 record.
The other teams in the league were
B'nai Moshe, Young Israel of
Southfield, Adat Shalom and Shaarey
Zedek.

B'nai B'rith
Volleyball Begins

The B'nai B'rith Volleyball League will
begin it's 26th season on Sunday, Oct. _
5, for a 10-week season.
The league will provide officials and
equipment, as well as trophies to the
league and playoff winners.
Participants must be 18 years of age, i 1
and belong to a B'nai B'rith lodge or
unit.
Anyone interested in playing should
