Jaime Michelle Rosman will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
/ Saturday, Sept. 13, at Temple Israel.
She is the daughter of Marla and Dr.
David Rosman, sister of Erica and
Ryan and grandchild of Janet and
Jerry Rosman, Claire Schwartz and
the late Dr. Arthur Schwartz; her
proud great-grandmothers are Pauline
Bell, Sara Lipschutz and Sadie
Schwartz.
She worked with seniors at the
Fleischman Residence as part of
her mitzvah projects. Attending
Orchard Lake Middle School, Jaime
is interested in dance and acting and
>-‘ enjoys rollerblading, swimming and
skiing.

Etan Klein

Etan Klein of Ann Arbor will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Sept. 13, at Beth Israel
Congregation. Etan is the son of Shira
and Steve Klein and the sister of
Ariella. He is the grandson of Ann
and Jules Doneson and Barbara and
Victor Klein.
Etan is a student at Emerson
School. He is an avid sports fan and
enjoys basketball, tennis and volleyball
as well as singing and playing his
ukulele.

Matthew Shiffman

Michael David Goode will observe his
bar mitzvah on Friday, Sept. 12, at
Temple Israel. He is the son of
Barbara and David Goode, brother of
Lisa and grandchild of Mary Jo and
Paul Goode and Muriel and Max
Markzon.
Mitzvah projects included assisting
with preschoolers in the Temple Israel
Nursery. An honor student at West
Hills Middle School, Mike enjoys
hockey, baseball, and soccer as well as
the computer.

Michael Goode

Matthew Joseph Shiffman will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Matthew is the
son of Lisa and Gary Shiffman and
brother of Alex and Adam. He is the
grandson of Evelyn Kasle and Dr.
and Mrs. Milton Shiffman and the
great-grandson of Rose Gold and
Helen Kanat. Matthew also is the
grandson of the late Walter Hoffman
and great-grandson of the late Joseph
Shiffman, Sol Kanat, Joseph Gold,
Florence Shiffman Hermelin and
Irving Hermelin.
Matthew is a student at Hillel Day
School and enjoys skiing, snowboard-
ing, playing electric guitar and acting.
