Temple Kol Ami Sisterhood will hold
its annual membership dinner, 6:15
p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the tem-
ple. The speaker will be Esther Tarnoff
Cooper from the Speakers Bureau of
the Detroit Institute of Arts. She will
speak on "Magic and Superstition in
Judaism".
All those attending are asked to
bring emergency equipment (such as
flashlights, batteries, diapers or bottled
water) to be donated to the Red Cross.

Temple Israel Sisterhood will host its
opening meeting and luncheon with
Lila Lazarus, noon Monday, Sept. 15,
at the temple. The event is free to paid-
up Temple Israel Sisterhood members.
Annual dues of $25 may be paid at the
door. Guests are welcome to attend for
$8 and babysitting is available for $5
per child by reservation.
