Working in high stress situations on a
daily basis, these soldiers have enough to
worry about. The last thing they should
have to think about is how their families
will be looked after if something happens.
That's why the Michigan Friends of the
Israel Defense Force (IDF) was established.

We help provide educational and social
assistance to the families of soldiers who
have been killed or wounded in the line of
duty. We also help make it possible for
active duty soldiers to take a much-needed
respite from the uncertainties they face in the
field.

Join us Wednesday, October 8, 1997 at
6:OOpm at the The Palace of Auburn Hills for
"A Golden Anniversary Celebration." This spe-
cial evening will honor Julius Spielberg and
The Michigan Veterans of the IDF, with special
guest Moshe Arens.

Dinner chairs: Shari and Alon Kaufman. For
further information, please call (248) 546-2003.
Through your attendance, you'll be giving
these soldiers the extra lift they deserve.
