The restaurant's lower level has a
completely separate kitchen to accom-
modate banquet seating for 180, with
• one room holding 10 to 40 and anoth-
• er up to 140, or opened up to the full
> amount.
Andiamo West has an extensive
wine list of bottles and glasses of vino
that go so well with the Italian dishes.
One of our visits was on a hot July
Monday night and quite amazing to
see the amount of people waiting for
tables.

It's been worth
the wait.

Monday evening is a lag period in
the restaurant game ... and July and
August notoriously slow months of the
year.
But try telling this to the people
waiting to be seated at Andiamo West
on this evening ... and get laughed at
with a heavy emphasis.
Andiamo West finally opened ...
and has become much more than ever
expected.
IT WAS ONLY 11 years ago that
I Larry Gaynor struggled to find space
for manicure supplies at the health and
beauty store founded in 1982 by Larry
and his father, Harold Gaynor, since
retired, next to the former Hunters
Square on Orchard Lake Road, and
- closed in 1986.
Today, Larry is president and CEO
of Nailco Salon Marketplace, the
nation's largest distributor of salon
products.
In its first month, Nailco, opened in
1985, topped $7,000 in sales ... Inside
of three years, its monthly sales aver-
aged $100,000 after moving to a
6,400-square-foot location.
The projection in 1997 is for
Nailco Salon Marketplace to have sales
of over $30 million ... generated from
its present, attractive, 100,000-square-
foot facility housing a showroom,
offices and distribution center.
