JPI Begins Sunday School The Jewish Parents Institute will begin its 50th year of Sunday school on Sunday, Sept. 7. Classes are held from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Sundays for chil- dren in nursery through 8th grade at the Maple-Drake JCC. Refreshments will be served. Temple Hosts Fund-Raiser Temple Kol Ami will holds its an- nual golf outing fund-raiser 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Bay Pointe Golf Club in West Bloomfield. Participation is open to the public. Players can sign up individu- ally or as a foursome. The basic fee of $150 per person covers 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, prizes and giveaways, a tournament gift bag, open bar, lunch and dinner. There will be a shotgun start and a scramble format for the golfing. Sponsorship options are available, and there is also an op- tion for non-players to attend.
