Alex Fine of West Bloomfield will
become a bar mitzvah on Satur-
day, Sept. 6, at Temple Kol Ami.
Alex is the son of Luanne Fine
and Bernie Fine, brother of Jen-
nifer Fine, and grandson of
Philip Fine, Lillian Fine, Dr.
Jack Greenstein and the late
Margaret Greenstein.
Alex is an honor student at
Walled Lake Middle School,
where he plays percussion in the
concert band. His interests in-
clude figure skating, travel and
computers. Alex taught figure
skating at Berkley Parks and
Recreation and volunteered at
the library at the Jewish Com-
munity Center and at Yad Ezra
for his mitzvah projects.
