Bloomfield will be bat mitzvah
at Congregation Bais Chabad on
Saturday, Sept. 6. Rabbi Silber-
berg will lead services.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny will be Malka's parents Allen
and Andrea and her brothers
and sisters, Marick, Elisheva,
Ari and Rachelli. Her grandpar-
ents are Anita and Harold Glass
of West Bloomfield, Brenda and
Harvey Vinton of Oak Park.
Malka is a student at Bais
Yaakov. She is interested in vi-
olin, travel and biking; she has
a black belt in karate.

mitzvah during a havdalah ser-
vice, Saturday, Sept. 6, at Tem-
ple Israel. Rabbi Yedwab and
Cantor Orbach will lead services.
Participating in the ceremony
will be Michael's parents, Wendy
and Loren, and his sister Jen-
nifer. Grandparents Barbara and
Arnold Berg of Franklin and Miri-
am and Leonard Zeidman of
Westland will attend. A party will
be held at Temple Israel. Michael
is a student at Warner Middle
School and attends Hebrew
school at Temple Israel. He is ac-
tive in hockey, karate and base-
ball.

vah on Saturday, Sept. 6, at
Temple Kol Ami. She is the
daughter of Luanne Fine and
Bernie Fine, sister of Alex Fine
and granddaughter of Philip
Fine, Lillian Fine, Dr. Jack
Greenstein and the late Mar-
garet Greenstein.
An honor student at Walled
Lake Middle School, Jennifer
plays percussion in the concert
band. Jennifer is a goalie on a
girls' travel hockey team and is
interested in music and travel.
Jennifer's mitzvah projects in-
cluded volunteering at Yad Ezra
and at the Jewish Community
Center library.
