Workshop Sept. 14

Social action leaders from metro area congregations will share their
skills and success stories at a workshop presented by the Jewish
Community Council's Social Action Coordinating Committee, on
Sunday, Sept. 14.
Designed as a how-to session for leaders and members of so-
cial action committees, the program will be held 10-11:30 a.m. at
the Max M. Fisher Building in Bloomfield Hills. The workshop will
feature presentations on successful programming by two area con-
gregations, and small-group learning sessions on programming for

The method of designing social action programming around a

single theme will be presented by Adat Shalom. Temple Beth-El's
Social Action Committee will discuss how to involve a wide vari-
ety of projects into the planning calendar. Susie Leemaster and
Pearlina Bodzin are the chairs of the Social Action Coordinating
Committee.
