THE DREAM IS BECOMING A REALITY

Due to the generosity of Nancy & Stephen Grand, the Nancy & Stephen
Grand Multi-Use Indoor Facility will become a reality in the summer of
1999. This 13,000 square foot facility will surely become the trademark of
Tamarack Camps, and will take camp into the 21st century. On one side will
be a full-size gym for basketball, tennis, volleyball and all camp activities.
There will be a stage at one end of the gym for camp productions. A 25-yard
pool will be on the other side of this facility. This pool, which will supple-
ment the lake, will be ideal for instructional swim, pool parties, and for gen-
eral swim when the weather is poor. "Building this facility has always been
a dream for me, now due to the generosity of Nancy & Stephen Grand, it will
be a reality," says Harvey Finkelberg, Executive Director of the Fresh Air

Society.

CAPITAL & ENDOWMENT CAMPAIGN
NEAR $2 MILLION IN PLEDGES

Nearly $2 million has been pledged towards the Capital & Endowment
Campaign. Approximately $3 million needs to be raised. Many new areas of

camp were dedicated at the Annual Meeting:
