Local Students Race
For College Cash

classroom and accelerate on
the race track. This was the
case for nine high school gradu-
ates who participated in the
Omega Race for Excellence — Go
Cart Grand Prix. The event was
recently held at Putt Putt Golf
and Games in Fanning-ton.
The nine students represent-
ed six high schools. Jenny Fisk,
of North Farmington High
School, crossed the finish line
first to receive the grand prize of
$2,500 awarded from Tapper's
Diamonds and Fine Jewelry.
