Photocopy a favorite fam-
ily photo and add balloons with
funny remarks. Tape to the in-
side of your child's lunch box.
Instead of sending the
usual halved sandwich, cut it
into about five pieces to form a
puzzle which your child can
put together before she eats.
ei Send a fresh flower (in-
side a baggie with a few drops
of water, to keep it fresh) with
a girl's lunch.
'4 Decorate food-filled plas-
tic bags with stickers.
Make your own choco-
late-covered fruit to take.

You will need:

1 12-oz. package choco-
late chips
fresh fruit, cut into 1"
pieces
wax paper
microwave oven

Wash and dry fruit. Place
chocolate chips in a bowl
and microwave on medium
for 2 minutes. BE CAREFUL!
Bowl will be hot. Stir. (Note:
if chocolate becomes too
hard while you're making
fruit, place it back in mi-
crowave).
Using fingers, dip bottom of
fruit in chocolate. Shake off ex-
cess.
Place fruit on waxed paper
and refrigerate, about 1 hour,
before eating. ❑
