fun to benefit the Literacy Pro-
ject of Ferndale Public Schools 2-

Family Day

Aish HaTorah of Metro Detroit
will offer a Hebrew reading crash
course, consisting of four lessons
each, lasting and hour and a half.
It will meet 7:30-9 p.m. Wednes-
days, at the Sarah and Ralph
Davidson Hadassah House, 5030

Seniors' Day
In Southfield

The city of Southfield, and the
Commission on Senior Adults
(COSA), welcome Southfield res-
idents age 50+ to Senior Appre-
ciation Day, 6-8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the
Burgh Park. All Southfield se-
niors are encouraged to bring
lawn chairs, and enjoy the free
hot dog supper and concert by the
Southfield High School Bluejay
Marching Band.
A raffle will be sponsored by
the Blue Care Network and M-
Care Senior Plan.
