Photo Show
The Institute for Retired Profes-
sionals (IRP), will present its sixth
anneal Photo-Art Show, Tuesday,
Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 29.
The exhibit will be on display at
the Jewish Community Center,
6600 W. Maple Road in West
Bloomfield, from Sept. 2 through
Sept. 10, and at the Jewish Com-
munity Center's Jimmy Prentis
Morris building, Sept. 15 through
Sept. 29.
The public is invited to meet
with the IRP photographers at
the opening reception, 3-5 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 7, in the lobby of
the Maple-Drake building. Call

CHaZaKaH, the Adat Shalom se-
niors group, will host the Detroit
Jewish community's Inter-con-
gregational Seniors Luncheon,
11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10,
at the synagogue.
Featured entertainers for the
day will be the Vintage Players of
Oak Park, who will present a va-
riety show and musical revue.
The group is directed by Fran
Aaron.
This anniinl event is open to all
Jewish seniors in the communi-
tY.
There is a $15 charge for mem-
bers of synagogue/temple seniors
groups, $16 for non-members.
Reservations and checks should
be sent to the individual congre-
gational seniors groups. Advance
reservations are required by Fri-
day, Aug. 29.

Are Planned
Cafe Europa Detroit will be held
at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18. at
the Jimmy Prentis Morris Jew-
ish Community Center in Oak
Park. This program is for Holo-
caust survivors, families and
friends. Bring your children and
grandchildren, and enjoy the Yid-
dish music by Ben Opengayn. Re-
freshments will be served.
Everyone is welcome at no charge.
The Rich Mitchell Trio will per-
form at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21
at JPM. There is no charge for
members; a nominal fee for non-
members.
The Center Forum meets every
Thursday at 10:30 a.m. David

events group for seniors dealing
with topics on local, national and
international issues. There is no
