BAHM Plans
Youth Services

Junior Congregation, BAHM
Youth Department's weekly
Shabbat morning program
for grades 3 and up, takes
place every Saturday morning
beginning Saturday, Sept. 6.
Nitzanim, for children ages
5-7, also begins on Sept. 6.
Play and Pray Shabbat morn-
ing program, for children
ages 2-4, continues through the
year.
These are all complimentary,
drop-in programs that enable
parents to attend services while
their young children enjoy play
activities, snacks and age-ap-
propriate services.
Junior Congregation, Nitzan-
im, and Play and Pray run from
10 a.m.-noon. The children join
the congregation in the sanctu-
ary for closing prayers and kid-
dush.
All Shabbat morning pro-
grams are open to the commu-
nity. No reservations are
required.

Congregation Shir Tikvah will
hold its annual membership pic-
nic from noon-4 p.m. Sunday,
Aug. 17, at a lake-front home in
Troy.
Each member family should
bring a dish to share, as well as
bathing suits and towels. Poten-
tial members are our guests, and
need only bring themselves and
beach paraphernalia. Beverages
and paper goods will be provid-
ed.
