Reunion Set
A Kapetansky family reunion
will be held this weekend in
Oakland County. Nearly 80 de-
scendants of the late Joel and
Sarah Kapetansky, who with
their nine children emigrated
from the Ukraine to Detroit pri-
or to World War I, will attend.
The main events will take place
in the Laurel Woods Clubhouse
in Southfield and at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Abramson in
West Bloomfield.
The reunion committee is
chaired by Mr. and Mrs. Carl
Maness and Dr. and Mrs. Joel
Leib. The committee includes
other grandchildren of Joel and
Sarah and their spouses: Mr.
and Mrs. Burt Chassin, Mr. and
Mrs. Seymour Kapetansky, Av-
ery Kay, Maxwell Leib, Sheldon
Leib and Mr. and Mrs. Sidney
Liberman. Honored guest will
be Faye Kapetansky, widow of
Dr. Nathan, the youngest son of
Joel and Sarah.
