Boat rides and a barbecue topped off a perfect summer day
on Walnut Lake last week.
The event was sponsored by the Daniel Sobel Friendship
Circle, an organization that reaches out to isolated Jews
and which serves some 50 families of children with special
needs. The barbecue was underwritten by Andy Jacobs of
Worldwide Financial and held at the home of Dr. David Kamins.
The Friendship Circle maintains a cadre of volunteers from local high
schools who turned out to participate in the fun. ❑
