Quaker Oats took over the
brand in 1994, has been re-
turned as the drink-com-
pany icon by its new
owners, Triarc Beverage
Group — in part because
of her brassy New York
style.
Kaufman "has a cer-
tain quirky personality
that fits the grass-roots
nature of the Snapple con-
sumer," said Triarc CEO
Mike Weinstein, who
helped bring back Wendy.
The new Snapple lady
commercial will air soon.
