Temple Kol Ami Religious School
will pilot a Shabbat and Chag
(Holiday) Family School for fam-
ilies with children in kinder-
garten through third grade. This
alternative to traditional Sunday
programs will give parents the
opportunity to learn a parallel
curriculum in one hour of formal
study during each session.
The adults' facilitator will be

New Classes
For Women

Bais Chabad Torah Center will
offer three new morning classes
for women, taught by Chaya
Sarah Silberberg and taking
place 10:15-11:15 a.m. at the
Torah Center, 5595 West Maple
Road, West Bloomfield.
Tuesday morning's class will
be "Jewish Holidays: A Histori-
cal, Practical and Mystical
Overview." An in-depth Torah
class on Genesis is offered on
Wednesday mornings, using the
text and following the classic
commentaries. Some knowledge
of Hebrew and a background in
Torah study and analysis is
helpful. English-translated texts
are available.
Thursday morning Mrs. Sil-
berberg will teach "The Wisdom
of the Lubavitcher Rebbe o.b.m.,"
based on discourses of the rebbe.
Texts are available for those who
wish to follow along.
